My son, Elijah Smith, is an outstanding athlete. He completed his 2024 senior high school football season averaging one touchdown for every three receptions. He has unmatched football speed. I never saw anyone who was able to match his speed during a game, either covering him or running away from him when he played safety.
Elijah has a brilliant football mind, and a strong, accurate arm. Combined with his speed, he is an ideal quarterback. He is very strong and is an excellent blocker.
In the playoffs against Arkansas 4A state champions Elkins, Elijah was involved in all scores, catching two TD passes and making a spectacular one-handed grab to set up the sole field goal.
He is a favorite to win the 2025 Arkansas State Decathlon.
