Feb 272010
Two days ago a poster on the popular Godlike Productions message board predicted large quakes might occur on February 27. At 3:45 AM today, a magnitude 8.8 earthquake struck Chile, the fifth or sixth strongest quake of the last 100 years.
The poster, “ZOSIME,” based his prediction on the impact of a coronal mass ejection (CME) upon the earth’s magnetosphere. The CME eruption was observed leaving the sun several days ago. His post follows:
CAUTION !!!! POSSIBUILITY OF LARGE QUAKES AND OUR MAGNETOSPHERE COULD BE UNDER PRESSURE AND STRESS AND OTHER EARTHLY DISSRUPTIONS. (POSSIBLE INCOMINGWITH THE ERUPTION OF THE ‘Great Magnetic Filament’ THAT COULD BE HEADING TO EARTH BY THE 27TH COULD CAUSE THE MAGNETOSPHERE TO BE UNDER PRESSURE. sOME BELIEVE AND I DO THIS COULD CAUSE STRESS ON THE PLATES. JUST A HEADS UP FOR ANY AREA. ON TOP OF THIS ALSO WITH THE UPCOMING FULL MOON THIS COULD GET INTERESTING.TAKE PRECAUTIONS NOW AND PREPARE JUST IN CASE.HAVN’T REALLY SEEN ANY INFORMATION ON HOW LARGE THE CME’S ARE OR FOR SURE WHERE THEY ARE HEADING JUST A HEADS UP.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
good prediction, Van.
can you predict when and where is the next quake ?
kindly advise, thanks,
joyce
He is correct. The earthquake was caused by this huge filament off of the sun:

There is a ring current around the earth

Here is the magnetic equator

It appears that this stream of charged electrons from the sun caused the quake. If you look at a picture of electron activity of the earth magnet field for this time period, you will see the area over the quake region was lit up.
More info that may support the theory

[…] Van’s Hardware Journal points out that the 2010 Chile earthquake was preceded by a Coronal mass ejection. […]
He is quite correct about CMEs causing massive earthquakes. I also have been writing about these events.

It is an extensive site, but I have built a model that explains the process.

very bad y don’t u help them
I also predicted the M8.8 earthquake, but not using magnetic filaments. My prediction had something to do with El Nino/La Nina and large changes in sea surface temperatures off the Chilean coast.
