Systems:
In the power system category, even though they are not the quickest performers,
Dell and Gateway take the top two spots with systems powered by Intel's P4. AMD
Athlon XP systems take the remaining five places. The best performing systems
are Athlon XP gaming machines from Alienware and Falcon Northwest.
Business Systems:
In the power system category, Intel P4 systems take the top three places -
again, not the quickest performing systems. AMD Athlon XP systems take the
remaining four places. The three best performing systems are Athlon XP powered
and are from Micro Express, Sys, and Systemax.
Notebook Systems:
All products are Intel PIII powered. Even though AMD is now selling more
notebook processors than it has ever done in its history, I don't know why no
AMD powered systems made the grade. They're cheaper and offer far better value.
AMD has some work to do here.
