I have just finished watching the season finale of Brad Meltzer’s Decoded where I appeared briefly at the start of the program.

My only motivation to agree to the interview was to discuss the linkage that I discovered between the Georgia Guidestones and the Burj Khalifa.

I want to make it clear that I am not an expert on the occult, much less Rosicrucianism.  I have a degree in physics and I am a qualified computer benchmarking expert.  I find the occult to be painful to study because it is illogical, irrational and offensive to a scientific mind, and this doesn’t even approach the many morally disturbing aspects of that topic.

The only reason I discuss occult subjects on this website is because of the obvious occult foundation of the Georgia Guidestones and the unsettling implications that follow logically from the monument’s links to the Burj Khalifa.  Basically, that evidence proves that a deranged and demented group of cultists wields almost unbelievable wealth and power.

I am disappointed that the History Channel would focus on fanciful, irrational conjecture and fear mongering while completely discarding rational and objective discussion.

However, I am not completely surprised, because they fed me the lines on the Rosicrucians and pressured me many times to stick to their script.  And out of the hours of interviews with the show’s producers and investigators, the program ultimately focused upon the scripted strawman quotes.

I’m just an ordinary man who happened to write an article on the Georgia Guidestones and stumbled upon the singularly remarkable links between the Georgia Guidestones and the Burj Khalifa.  I am not a major media personality.  I am not independently wealthy.  For the most part, I stick to running my business and I don’t write much anymore, even on computer topics, for which I am best known.

It is remarkable to me that the History Channel would produce an entire episode in an attempt to discredit an ordinary guy, because they clearly scripted me to play the roll of the foil, the adversary that the rest of the program then tore down.  Apparently, I made someone somewhere mad with my Georgia Guidestones research (Ted Turner perhaps?).

But they really didn’t do it very well.  While they tried to make me look crazy, they countered the crazy guy with much crazier rebuttals and outrageous fear mongering.  Sadly, this season of Decoded was embarrassingly poor on all levels.  That they selected the Guidestones episode for the season finale just demonstrates how bad all of the other nine episodes were.

It has been an interesting experience and it will make me watch the History Channel much more skeptically.  If my experience is representative — and there exists other accounts similar to mine — then the stories they tell are manufactured and manipulative with a wholesale disregard for truth and objectivity.

If you are interested in learning more about the Georgia Guidestones, a good place to start is my last article which you can read here.

  1. Van, I read your article last year and thought your analysis was thorough and compelling. I had never heard of the guidestones until Kathy alerted me to the article. I watched the show tonight and completely agree with your take on their treatment. I have never seen the show before, and if this is typical of their approach, there is no chance I will see it again. I could tell their minds were made up before the show went into its second minute, and I was trying to figure out why they were focusing on the Rosicrucians when I did not recall that being a focus of your article. The ending comment about 1979 being the height of the Cold War seemed completely out of left field and was unsubstantiated. Perhaps RC Christian paid for that comment to be made!

    • Hi, Diana.

Kathy and I had prepared ourselves for such a contrived outcome. Before flying me to Atlanta, the producer had already spoken with me and exchanged many emails. After I agreed to the interview in Georgia, he suddenly wrote me back with a script for me to recite about the Rosicrucians. We were startled by this sudden turn and odd focus, but we hoped that they would at least mention the connection between the Burj Khalifa and the Georgia Guidestones, since that has always been the main reason I have agreed to any interview.

However, I was not quite prepared for how antagonistic the director would be. Although he initially let me discuss the evidence I uncovered — and we did speak for a long time — he eventually shouted at me several times to say my lines and stick to the script.

Sadly, even though I thrust Common Sense Renewed into their hands, they failed to mention anything about that book. That’s a shame because it clears up many of the ambiguities of the monument including the establishment of a totalitarian, feudalistic world government and R.C. Christian’s avid support for eugenics.

So when you watch that program, you need to understand that they were not ignorant of the copious, existing evidence that leads to inevitable denouncement of the monument. Instead, they deliberately chose to ignore all of the real evidence in favor of scientifically ridiculous rebuttals to the strawman arguments they forced me to say.

It was particularly disturbing to Kathy to see Decoded follow my grossly edited interview with the “Rosicrucian priest” who enthused about man becoming God while soothing music played along in the background with the interviewers all cooing joyfully in agreement.

We had expected a surge in visits thanks to that interview, but our traffic has so far failed to exceed previous records for this site. That is probably a good indication of how poorly watched Decoded is (it annoys me that they are using the name from my initial GG article). On a positive note, since the show was such a stinker on all levels this year, it’s hard to see how the History Channel can renew it.

Best to you and your lovely family,

      Van

  2. WOW! I’ve lived in Georgia (close to Elberton) all my life and have never heard of the Georgia guidestones either. I often watch Decoded and early on realized that the first and foremost objective of the show is to be entertaining. Hence, the looks of surprise and drama …fade to commercial…when one of their interviewees makes a profound statement. Their focus is supposedly on unraveling the details and getting to the truth. To this day, I have never felt we were any closer to the truth of their subjects than we were at the beginning of each show. In fact, I’m usually more confused. It does, however, encourage me to investigate on my own. Regarding R. C. Christian, why the anonymity? That’s the very first thing that makes me consider the real possibility that the guidestones are of a sinister nature. I’ll continue my own research, but as of now I feel Van is enlightened.

  3. Decoded gave Mark Dice much the same treatment when he was on the show. You may want to try and contact him as he was very upset about how his episode was twisted.(he was on Alex Jones just to talk about that) Oddly enough, Alex Jones later appeared in an episode. I’ve watched a few episodes and there is a clear History Channel formula for these types of shows. They pretend to give “conspiracy theorists” or alternative views a fair shake in the beginning..then they have “experts” tear down and poo poo(usually without ANY facts or supporting data for their opinion), then at the end of the show the hosts take the main stream view and wrap it all up nice and neat. It’s just spin. The ONLY thing we can hope to get out of these shows is that at least some of the info is getting put out there and maybe a few people will get curious and do their own research. Also, Decoded is a total shameless rip-off of a Jesse Venturas Conspiracy Theories.

  4. You just did for publicity and now you come on here and diss the people who gave you at least 15 seconds of fame! Come on man! The RC’s are real. They’re here and they’re coming!

  5. Van, those who seek the truth will find it, but those who just want to promote lies will ultimately be destroyed for their lack of love for the Truth, pity those who take advantage of honest people and twist the truth to mock a truthful person. I watched that show and it was abundantly clear that the program was publicitiy in favor of Rosicrucians. More like a paid infomercial or should I say disinfomercial and far from anything like a fact finding documentary. It was obvious to me they didn’t due any justice to the real evidence and no doubt they cut and edited only the stuff they wanted. The truth will be known and your honesty will be rewarded in the end. What right does Joey have to judge your motive? He wants to discredit you. God forgive those who are lost in darkness of deception.

    – Endorsed “torture” of people at Highway 55 when 600-law enforcement (the largest police action in Minnesota history) arrested peaceful protesters trying to prevent demolition of homes for a road. Many protesters were handcuffed behind their backs and pepper sprayed in their eyes. (Page 4).
    – Ventura took government money to go to school in Hennepin County and later told students that if they were smart enough to go to college they should be able to figure out how to pay for it.

    • Can you quote the sources of your research? Wouldn’t it be logical to assume that a world in which 1% of the population control 99% of the wealth of the earth and 99% of the population control 1% of the wealth would require less population so the masses do not rebel? It sounds very logical to me. Do you think the wealthy will distribute their wealth or would they cull the masses instead?

What do you think of the Military Industrial Complex? The conglomerate of multinational companies whose sole purpose it is to keep the world in a perpetual war so their share holders can have profits. Do you imagine if there was peace?

If there was a war and the poor and middle class do not enlist, do you think the wealthy and powerful of the earth would go and fight it themselves or send their young men and women? Or would they hide in cowardice?

Patriotism should be shared equally. We all have to pay taxes that pay for the wars. Should they also share in the grief of losing their young?

  7. I watched the episode (only the second time I have ever watched) and thought it was a bunch of garbage. As soon as they were finished “interviewing” you I said to my wife they set you up. They attempted to make you seem as if you were a crazy nut. But this is SOP for the History Channel. They have everything planned out where they want to go. If you go along with their Idea, well you will look great. Opposite view, you’re a loonie. I know better. I have heard you on Stan Monteith, Future Quake, as well as reading your blog. Keep it up. You’re doing great and are headed the right direction.

    • Thanks for your words of support.

Anyone who has heard me talk or read my articles knows that their depiction of me was contrived. The editing was even very sloppy. The “script” they sent me after I agreed to be interviewed was almost entirely focused on the Rosicrucians and had almost nothing to do with what I had been talking about with them or anyone else.

The strange script, which is all that aired, took me aback, but I was led to believe that I would be able present my evidence connecting the Georgia Guidestones with the Burj Khalifa, which is all I cared about. They obviously had no plans to ever reveal that information; perhaps even before they initially contacted me they had decided to concoct a way to discredit me.

They set me up, but why? I’m not a media heavyweight; I hardly even write much anymore, so why pick me to beat like a pinata on national TV?

The Georgia Guidestones episode of Decoded was bizarre. While they did try to make me look like a nut, the rest of the show was completely nuts. Meltzer’s outburst of worship for Ted Turner in that show might reveal his motive for attacking me since I popularized the notion that Turner was at least partially responsible for the Guidestones. I’m more certain of that now than ever before.

  8. I am always interested in conspiracies, theories on prophecy, and whatnot. I was very interested when I first saw the ads for Decoded. The more I watch it, though, the more I think of the show Ancient Aliens. These so-called theories of various phenomena are just absurd. Every person I’ve seen on Decoded is portrayed as a nut when the people making this show are the real nuts. I am interested in these topics based on research and supported facts behind them. It is very interesting and helps me keep an open mind about others’ beliefs and history. These types of shows only create rumors and hysteria where there is no real basis for it. These types of shows are why masses are going to freak out near the end of 2012. It’s the Y2K of the present. Shouldn’t the History channel present shows about actual history? Nope…that’s just entertaining enough. Lies and ridicule are more entertaining. It’s a shame they do this to people who actual consider it important to be factual. It really irritates me when I see how they portrayed you and others like you.

  9. Hey! I stopped watching that show after the first episode! It was obvious to me that they didn’t want the TRUTH to be known and were only out to discredit so-called “Conspiracy Theorist”. I have often heard it said that if one wants to conceal something, then do so in PLAIN SIGHT! I will not g0 off into some tangent here, but we (ALL citizens everywhere) who want to continue to live free, non-elitest controlled lives should pay attention to the various recent regulations/laws that are being imposed upon us. I feel that any somewhat rational person can see through the “herding” that those in control have been perpetuating. In the words of Public Enemy–Don’t Believe the Hype!!
    .

  10. Meltzer is a long time CIA asset, as are Ventura and Alex Jones. When people are on primetime tv why even bother to listen to them? You get nothing but propaganda.

  11. History channel makes crap. They include enough truth to hide lies and manipulation. Another example beyond what they did to you was a program about the Ottoman takeover of Constantinople. The Turk was raised by aChristian mother and did not allow killing Christians. HC claimed the Turks killed and tortured them. The extent of the torture, in reality, was an additional tax on all non-Muslims.

  12. Just wanted to say thanks for the article. Well researched and comprehensive, it’s been an enlightening read. Like most people, I have my suspicions about the stones, but it is nice to see the various threads laid out as impartially as possible. Good work!

  13. I don’t watch the Big Brother Tube that much, however I like the History channel once in awhile. PBS, National Geographic and other documentary type programs interest me. I’m a different kind of “Christian” than you may know of. If you link all the places in this world in the same way you do the Georgia stones and the Building in Dubai, you will find the same results. DC is built in a diamond shape and the construction is full of meaning. Why so much symbolic occultism is beyond my understanding. It is all in the natural and has no Spiritual power! All this does not bother me in the slightest! You seem to be a free scientist. the Kennedys seem to have been rebels and I can see they were eliminated! So many influential men and women have been murdered to further the plans of one world government ruled by man! The theologian at the end of the program was partly right. Lucifer in the bible is the “morning star”. Lucifer is ADAM the first mankind! He is fallen and appears as a messenger of light(angel). However his light is darkness. Jesus is the same name in Hebrew”Heylel” Morning Star! Adam as god is the plan of the Illuminati. So it has been since Nimrod! So the statue of liberty is a symbol of Lucifer “angel of light”! These men and women have been raising dynasties of children who think what hey are doing is righteous and a benefit to mankind, thinking they do God a service! The girl in the program said she wants the truth, she can’t handle the truth! Pilot asked the same question to Jesus!
Thanks Van for all this research and God be with you!

  14. I think that the show was very well documented with enough sources. Scientific, well, it does not have to be. I did not get the idea that it involved the occult. The way that the world is today, it is obvious that some may want to cull the masses until only 500 million remain. Just look at the many gold buying businesses, the way in which gold, silver and copper are going through the roof. Also, the way in which the government have given the wealthy tax cuts and leaving the social programs that help the poor hanging.

The wealthy has burnt care to a cinder until they do not mind stepping over millions as long as they complete their agenda. If you look at ponerology, it is expected of those who are powerful through wealth to want to be in control. It wouldn’t surprise me find that all those bunkers that are being built with the help of our taxes are for those who are willing to pay for a space in them for a handful of gold.

So, time will tell. And I give you credit for using the world demented. But you may be calling the wrong people demented. Just because they bring something to our attention. But, those who ask for the stones to be made are the psychopaths that thrive under the promise of controlling 500 million.

Right now 85% of the wealth of the whole earth is in the hands and controlled by only a mere 1.5% give or take 1% and the other 15% of the wealth of the world is controlled by 99% of the world’s population. Don’t you consider logical that they want to control the masses so they do not rebel? I think that would be the agenda, don’t you think?

  15. i am unfamiliar with you, your work rather…doesn’t mean i’m uninterested in knowing your research or point of view, but i do have an honest question. if you knew you were being misrepresented, then why continue with the project?
i would think that just the fact alone that they gave you a script that did not co-inside with your actual research or point of view would be a major red flag and have you running for the hills. i am genuinely curious as to why you would continued on, were you locked into a contract? seems like if they were looking for a genuine nut to read a script, shouldn’t be to difficult to find. as i said with no offense intended, i have no idea who you are. likely that they could place anyone on the show to back up they’re agenda, so why stay and participate? seems like you knew you were being duped? sorry, not trying to antagonize, just confused. besides, it’s TV, meant to be dramatic and entertaining…twists and turns, speculations, etc. then again, i wish i felt like there was ANYTHING out there i could actually believe. everybody is full of shit seems like. i look forward to reading your research to understand what your point of view is and why you are so upset with this show. sorry they made you feel terrible, i would suggest avoiding TV appearances unless it’s on PBS or something. thanks for sharing.

    • Hi Jennifer,

      Thanks for your comment.

Before I agreed to the interview, I insisted that I be allowed to discuss all of my findings in front of the camera. They agreed, but also coached me and gave me a specific list of things they wanted me to say. I did not disagree with anything that I stated in front of the camera, because I tried to phrase the scripted dialog in a truthful manner. However, I never focused upon their issues in my own research or even cared much about them.

Despite my reservations, my findings are so important that I took the calculated risk to agree to the interview in hopes that even if the interview went south that it would at least promote a little traffic to my articles.

They did allow me to talk for quite a while about my research and I was interviewed in total for several hours. I was very careful about what I said and I tried to stay focused and objective — the director was quite antagonistic at times insisting that I recite their lines; this antagonism is evident in my interview when he cranked up pressure after letting me speak at length about my research. . If you watch my interview, it was very heavily edited and choppy. This indicates the lengths they had to take to contort my interview to suit their objectives.

It is very clear that my research has upset a few power players who pulled strings to discredit me; that was the obvious focus of that poorly executed season finale episode of Decoded, if not the motivation for that TV series.

Regarding your frustrations about finding trusted sources, the truth of the matter is that you live during a time when you can’t trust anyone. And I certainly don’t want you to trust me. Please read my research and decide for yourself. I am trained as a scientist and I approached the Georgia Guidestones with an objective, logical, rational, scientific mindset. I think you will find that my research is dramatically more rigorous and legitimate than the shoddy episode of Brad Meltzer’s Decoded in which I appeared.

Good luck in your search for truth.

      Van

  16. The History Channel is entertainment, not news. The News Media is entertainment, not news. These are now government or ‘the people’-owned and have no obligation to tell the truth. In fact government oversight has stated that they are not required to tell the truth after FOX and other big media companies jumped on board fighting a claim that they must tell the truth. Search “media legally allowed to lie”.
It is a sad state we live in where evil rules and goodness is almost obsolete in popular culture.
On the other hand where is your courage? And dignity? You read a script and now complain about it? Why did you read it if the script isn’t what you thought, what you wanted to say, what you believe? I am not here to defend the History Channel, in fact i hate that channel, the owners and producers and everyone who helps that channel exist because they ARE liars, and thieves, and have little to no dignity, morality, humanity.

Oh well, too bad you’re not talking about the show i came on the net looking for.. I might have more to say.

    • Thanks for your comment. I have addressed your question already. Rather than rephrase my answer, here is a quote from another reply:
