Only two other people in modern times are in consideration for living beyond 120 years and one of those is disputed. In this case, it is suspiciously convenient that all of her identification documents were supposedly burned in the 1960s.
What’s interesting about this claim is that the Indonesian woman supposedly has a 108-year old adopted daughter who is apparently still alive. If true, that would put mother’s age almost certainly above 120.
BTW, several people in my family have achieved significant longevity. My Cherokee great-great-grandfather lived to be over 110-years old. My mother recounts a story of how he killed a rattlesnake with his bare hands by picking it up by the tail and snapping the snake like a whip. He was supposedly close to 110 when she saw him do this.
I spoke with my sweet Aunt Hattie on her front porch when she was over 110-years old. Her mind was bright and agile and she enjoyed recounting stories of her life, some of them over 100-years old.

I could’ve, at age 22, adopted someone of age 14. That’d be only 8 years between us, making her at most 117.
